Mark Goode might be on top of the world now but he was not always the affluent man you see before you. So how did he manage to climb to the top of his field? Well, he was born in the back streets of Topeka and proved to be quite proficient at academics. This is how he earned the title of valedictorian. When he was done with high school, he got offers from some of the top tier schools in the world. But he declined them all so he could go to KSU and stay close to him in case anything came up. He excelled in all his courses there &, as a result, finished with one of the best GPAs in his graduating class of 87. After closing the book on his academic career, he went on to work in the sales room of a new business known as CAP. It was not really what he wanted to do for the rest of his life but it was the only thing he could get at the time. Two years later, however, he was able to get an offer that was more in line with what he wanted to do. So he joined ARI & worked there for more than half a decade.
When all was said & done, he ended up doing sales for DSI Global starting in the summer of 2009 and he found he really liked the work. This is what led to him moving up the ladder and ten years later became the president & CEO of the company. Of course, he does not take any of this for granted and is grateful for all the success he has had. He now lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife and three kids and is doing well.
